At Pathhead we have a lovely 3 bedroomed cottage available for holiday rentals. It sleeps 6 very comfortably.
If emailing use subject heading (eg."holiday cottage enquiry") to help us to distinguish between your valued enquiry and junk email which we get a lot of and delete without reading.
We charge £300 per week although some busy periods and special events (e.g Scottish Open and Christmas) may be more expensive depending on demand. We ask for a £50 deposit to secure your booking and guarantee the quoted price.
Shorter periods are also available.
Please call 01575 572173 or email info@pathhead.com
Please note - you don't have to want to ride horses to book the cottage but if you hate the things, be aware, you will wake up every morning to the sights and sounds of horses on the move (possibly even the staff on a good day).

Exterior shot of the cottage - facing the yard, the kitchen window is the one with the blue blind.

Garden ground on opposite side of cottage - includes a large lawn for use by visitors

Kitchen interior - recently fitted out with new wood units, breakfast bar and 4 stools, extra large gas range (6 burners and an oven big enough to take 2 monster turkeys). The kitchen has lots of everything that you could need including 2 sets of dishes ('everyday don't care if you break them' as well as matching set for more special occasions). The window looks out into the yard and you can see horses in their stables from here. Privacy isn't a problem as venetian blinds allow you the amount of visibility you want and the main living area is in front of the house away from people and acitvity.

This view is part of the living room; the smaller bit at the back where there are tables/dining area
The window on the left looks out on the nursery/gardens and beyond that down over the Strathmore Valley and up into the Sidlaws. As you can see the sun hits that window during the day as it does the good sized veranda just outside that window. At night you can see the lights of Forfar (nearest mid sized town) in the distance.
The door on the left at the back leads into one of the bedrooms and closed door middle right leads up to the large loft bedroom up the stairs. The open door on the extreme right leads to the hallway/bathroom/kitchen third bedroom.

A familiar scene in the outdoor school - you can see the rooftops of part Kirriemuir in the background.
